It takes a little bit of obsession to grow really big flowers OR make linocuts. I enjoy doing both! Come on over for a watermelon slice served under the sun flower!
Check out the other garden images at Between the End Pages. This is the new children's illustration blog I'm part of with Brooke Boynton Hughes, Tina Kugler & Marsha Riti.
Just bought some veggie seedlings yesterday, love your linocut!
ReplyDeleteI can put myself right in that beautiful linocut. I have crazy hair, a garden and a big red watering can. I'll imagine me there - so lovely.
ReplyDeleteThis is wonderful- such a "girly" illustration for you!! Love it!
ReplyDeleteThank you for showing us the steps of your great linocut! I was just thinking of trying linocut so it was nice to see how you do it.
ReplyDeleteThanks ladies! Happy gardening to you all!
ReplyDeleteEven more beautiful. I love the curly pumpkin shoots and the little starry pumpkin flowers. All so heart warming and inspiring, especially because we're almost through winter and just entering spring here in Australia x
ReplyDeleteIt all feels so fresh. I admire your clean look and use of color-- I can feel it all grow!
