Hi Brooke! My favorite paper is Rives BFK. I tend to like the heavier papers instead of rice paper like many people use for block prints. BFK works well with watercolor also!
Super nice! I'm playing catch up on your blog now that you have inspired me. I have so much to learn. I'm glad it's not necessary to have an expensive press. Your spoon seems to have worked very well!

Very cool block in your movie! I like the music behind and the "subtitles." I say, do more.
ReplyDeleteThis is awesome, Jill! Hope you make more like this:)
ReplyDeleteThank you Elizabeth & Cyn! It was fun to make. I just have to learn more about the movie files and uploading, etc. That part was frustrating.
ReplyDeleteWow Jill! This is so cool! What kind of paper do you print on?

ReplyDeleteThat was excellent Jill! Big congrats on your first movie. I hope you are planning to do more. Your process is as fascinating as the end result!
ReplyDeleteMore, more! It is just magic to see you at work Jill!
ReplyDeleteWell done video and I do like your blend of very well done lino-cut and watercolours.
