I'm excited about how this turned out! I was trying to finish it quickly and I also managed to give myself a migraine carving way too many hours yesterday.
This spread from my picture book dummy shows the moment when these two brothers climb to the top of a mountain and find out they aren't the only two people in the world. They just found a city full of brand new friends!

ReplyDeleteSam, I did this carving in about a week before and after work and on the weekends. It actually was hard to get it done that fast but I have a deadline! Usually, I like to intersperse my time carving with other things like drawing or painting- that makes it easier on my body.
