Here is the Heron all finished! It was a little challenging for me to make such a dark painting- hopefully it's not too dark. I just love Great Blue Herons. They nest around Steamboat in the spring. I always feel extremely lucky when I see one flying, fishing in the river, or sitting on a nest high up in a cottonwood tree.

ReplyDeleteI too love Great Blue Herons. I've tried sneaking up on them for a good picture. Not an easy task. I love all the shades of blue in your piece and the wonderful style of it!
