This weekend my husband, Matt cut the first couple of covers for my book. I'm really excited about them! I'm going to paint the wood black- I'd rather stain them to let the wood grain show but there are a lot of flaws. I'll also paint the print that shows through the cover.
This is such a beautiful thing. It belongs in a shadow box! Except that it looks so tactile too...maybe a shadow box with a liftable front :) I love your work.
ReplyDeleteI love the book exactly as it is!!!! what type of wood is it? the cheaper the wood the harder it is to get it right. ignore me... monkey gets bossy every now and then.
